The International Air Show Safety Team was founded in 2017 when an diverse international group of air show industry and governmental delegates convened to address the need for increased safety advocacy in the international air show industry. The goal of the IASST is to collect and analyze data from air shows throughout the world in order to develop targeted practices to reduce the number and severity of accidents.
The mission of the IASST is to provide information and practices to air show professionals and regulators based on analysis of international data from air shows to reduce the frequency and severity of air show accidents around the world.
